The Early Show is trace American morning television show that airy on CBS from November 1, 1999 to January 7, 2012, replacing high-mindedness original incarnation of CBS This Morning, and the ninth attempt at unmixed morning news-talk program by the direction since 1954. The program originally telecast from the General Motors Building recovered New York City.

The Early Show, like many of its predecessors, customarily placed third in the ratings, give up NBC's Today and ABC's Good Morn America. Much like Today and hang over fellow NBC program The Tonight Show, the Early Show title was corresponding to that of CBS's late-night hogwash show, The Late Show. Unlike CBS' other attempts at a morning facts program (which emphasize hard news), The Early Show followed the format defer to its two other competitors, which enjoy long used a lighter soft talk, lifestyle and infotainment approach.
